What’s the value of street photography?

Remember first, that street photography is an exercise in minimalism, filtering all of life down into finite moments.

And for photography in general, value breaks out into three progressive areas.  Personal value.  Other’s value.  Collective Value.  (In my opinion, personal value should come first, with other’s and collective value a close 2nd/3rd)  But street photography can be as hard to determine value as it is to clearly define

Staying clear of the subject of digital store fronts and likes and going viral and nfts and trending..  Street photography has value when it people stop, look and think.   Like or don’t like, thumbs up, down, ect.  If they stop, look and think, there’s value.  Because at that moment, they’re nearly in the street photographers moment.
